  Got there early & they did try to get us in earlier. Took forever to retrieve our bags from the check in room for bags. Lots of miscommunication. The room was too small so we requested to change to a bigger room they tried but ended up showing us a room that was bigger but it smelled like cigarettes :( so we requested another room. They ended up giving us the keys to another persons room that wasn't checked out yet :((( thank God they weren't in the room. I would of hated to have had someone walked into my room got concern for this. Well 2 hrs later we were exhausted trying to get our room but finally they did so upsetting :( I will personally never go to that Hilton ever again. I have never had a problem with them before.

  My husband and I stayed 2 nights with our teenage son. The location was perfect for our itinerary. The room was quiet and clean. Also the beds quite comfortable. The concierges were especially helpful.

  Clean, roomy accomodations. The bed, pillows, linens were very comfortable. Large, busy lobby with helpful staff. Great location if you like to shop. Although pool was undergoing repair, we were allowed to go next door to use the pool and gym. That worked out well as the fitness facility on site is private and charges unless you are a Hilton honors member. It was a state of the art facility. Check out your city map in advance. Two cabbies tried to take us the long way until I corrected them.

  The overall experience was satisfactory. The room was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is near the cable car and the major shopping malls and some nice restaurants and a Wallgreen where I got a nice SF rain jacket (was raining during my stay) for 20 bucks. The only negative thing I can say is one of the double beds in my room may need to be replaced soon as the spring was felt in one area.
